Visitor Centre

It is the first place we recommend visiting. At the Ricardo Codorníu Visitor and Management Centre, visitors can get information and visit exhibition and screening rooms in order to learn about environmental and cultural values of this Regional Park.

It is an old building from the 1930s known as `Caserón de Cáritas´. Its original purpose was to be home for workers and warehouse for the materials used to build `El Avión´.

After the civil war, some buildings were partially demolished, however this remained intact. Then it was used for camps for children with special needs; this is the reason why it was nicknamed as `Caserón de Cáritas´.
