Snow Wells
Walking along the highest points of Sierra Espuña, we can see a series of 28 wells which were used to store snow: Los Pozos de la Nieve. They represent a historic and cultural vestige which is priceless within the Park heritage.
The wells were built between 16th-20th centuries aiming at provinding the nearby localities with ice. Currently, there are two signed pathways which allow us to enjoy both them and their surroundings: Sendero de Pedro López and Valle de Leyva-Collado Mangueta.
