See and do

Get ready to discover a breathtaking territory with impressive landscapes full of contrasts. From those which do not seem to be from this world, such as Barrancos de Gebas or the surroundings of Baños de Mula, to lush Mediterranean pine forests at the foothills and on top of Espuña, and fertile valleys along the Mula, Pliego and Guadalentín rivers.

Nevertheless, not all is about nature so you might feel like living the history by visiting unique archaeological sites, such as Bastida de Totana, Alhama´s Castle and the Roman Villa in Los Villaricos de Mula. Bursting with history are also the steep and narrow streets in the historic areas of the Espuña villages. Thousands of things to do in the shelter of Sierra Espuña Regional Park.

Do or not to do? That is really the question when we are planning to go on holiday. When visiting TERRITORIO SIERRA ESPUÑA, you can rather do nothing at all or do many fun activities like climbing in Leyva or enjoying the views from the highest points of the Park.

You can also walk along any of our more than 300 km of waymarked footpaths or if you are more into biking, accept the ESPUBIKE challenge. Learn about the activities programmed and do not forget about experiencing their culture, traditions and festivals all year round.

Delight in tasting the flavours of our gastronomy or get the most genuine crafts in our street markets. Nonetheless, you can choose among our acclaimed accommodations to make yourself at home and spend your stay doing nothing… It is up to you!
